This policy, together with Privacy and Legal notes, illustrates some management rules of the Amadori websites also regarding the use of user information. The following applies to the Corporate site and to all mini-websites attributable to Amadori products, promotions and competitions.
In particular, this page explains which types of Cookies and Tracking Tools we use on our websites and how we use them. The Cookie Policy (or 'Extended Privacy Policy') shown below, relating to the use of Cookies and Tracking Tools on Amadori websites, is provided to the user in implementation of the Provision of the Data Protection Authority of 8 May 2014 'Identification of the simplified procedures for the information and the acquisition of consent for the use of cookies', in compliance with the related clarifications issued in this regard by the Data Protection Authority.
All Amadori Group websites are controlled and managed by Gesco Società Cooperativa Agricola, Via del Rio 400, 47522 San Vittore di Cesena (FC), hereinafter also referred to as 'Site Manager' or 'Amadori' or 'Data Controller'.
What Tracking Tools Are
his document contains information on the technologies that allow the Amadori websites to achieve the purposes described below. These technologies allow the Data Controller to collect and save information (for example through the use of Cookies) or to use resources (for example by running a script) on your device when you interact with Amadori websites.
For simplicity, in this document these technologies are briefly defined as 'Tracking Tools', unless there is reason to differentiate. For example, although Cookies can be used in both web and mobile browsers, it would be inappropriate to speak of Cookies in the context of applications for mobile devices, since these are Trackers that require a browser. For this reason, within this document the term Cookie is used only to specifically indicate that type of Tracking Tool.
A Tracking Tool therefore means any technology – e.g. Cookies, unique identifiers, web beacons, embedded scripts, e-tags and fingerprinting – which allows users to be tracked, for example by collecting or saving information on the User's device.
Cookies are Tracking Tools that comprise small portions of data stored in the User's browser.
Some of the purposes for which Tracking Tools are used may also require your consent. If consent is given, it can be freely revoked at any time by following the instructions in this document.

Their purpose
In general, Tracking Tools can be used for various reasons, for example, to monitor visitors' use of the website, improve page navigation, to allow you to set personal preferences on the websites you are visiting, to protect security of the user, to present advertising messages based on the interests of visitors.
What types of Cookies and Trackers we use and for what Purposes
In general and according to common terminology, cookies and Tracking Tools can have different characteristics allowing their classification based on:
- the length of time they remain on the user's device: in this case we are talking about cookies and/or tracking tools session/temporary or persistent cookies and/or tracking tools;
- origin: in this case we are talking about first-party cookies and/or tracking tools (sent to the browser directly from the website you are visiting) or cookies and/or Third-party Tracking Tools (sent to the browser from other websites and not from the website you are visiting);
- the purpose: in this case, we are talking about technical cookies, Measurement Tracking Tools and Targeting and Advertising.
Following this classification, the same Tracking Tool may also have all these characteristics together, therefore, for example, be a Tracking Tool with a persistent duration, coming from a third party and for measurement purposes.
Length of stay
Session/temporary tracking tools: these are not stored permanently but are only limited to the duration of the browsing session. This means that they are automatically deleted from the user's device once he has left the website and closed the browser.
Permanent Tracking Tools: they are stored on the user's device until the user deletes them or until they reached their expiration date if pre-set. They are therefore not automatically deleted from the user's device when he leaves the website.
Origin
First-party tracking tools: tracking tools released by the website currently visited; the website is the one corresponding to the address entered by the user (website displayed in the URL window).
Third-party tracking tools: tracking tools released by a website other than the one visited by the user.
